About · Technology Giants

We do networking for a living. The store came second.

Technology Giants is run by the people who would otherwise be in your attic pulling cable. We sell the gear we install, skip the gear we don't, and write every product page the way we'd explain it to a friend — numbers first, no theatrics.

STORY 01

How this started

It started with installs: crawlspaces, attics, and Florida block walls that eat 5 GHz for breakfast. After enough jobs, a pattern got hard to ignore — most networking problems were purchasing problems. People arrived with the wrong gear, usually too much of it, sold by a spec sheet nobody translated.

So we built the store we kept wishing existed: one brand done properly instead of forty done shallowly, prices that reward building a complete kit, and product pages that say who each thing is for — and who should skip it.

Everything in the catalog has been on our bench. The numbers we publish come from datasheets and our own testing, in that order. When the honest answer is the $99 part, that's the answer you get.

The standard we're aiming for: an install you stop noticing.
PROCESS 02

What happens when you order

Four steps, no mystery. The same flow whether it's one access point or a forty-device office.

1You order — or ask first

Use the coverage planner, the bundle builder, or just email us the floor plan. Pre-sale questions get an installer, not a script.

2We pick from tested stock

Every SKU in the store has been through our bench. If a batch has a known firmware quirk, you'll hear about it before it ships.

3It ships within 24 hours

Free over $99. Tracking the moment it leaves, and a packing note that tells you which box to open first.

4We stay on the hook

Setup questions, RMAs, firmware advice — handled by the same people who chose the gear. 30-day returns, no restocking games.

PRINCIPLE 03
"We'll talk you out of overbuying. Trust is the actual product."

— the rule everything else here follows from

If the $99 part does the job, that's the recommendation. The expensive one has to earn it.
Specs come from datasheets, never from vibes. When we add our own bench numbers, we say so.
If it hasn't been on our bench, it isn't in the store.
"Which one?" gets answered with a question about your building, not your budget.
No exclamation marks. The gear is exciting enough at default volume.
PLAIN TERMS 04

What we are

Four commitments, in plain terms. Everything else on this site is one of these wearing different clothes.

UniFi specialists

One ecosystem, known deeply — not forty brands known shallowly.

Installers first

The store sells what the bench approves. Nothing drop-shipped, nothing third-party.

A design desk

Floor plan in, kit out — free before purchase, for homes and offices alike.

Support that installs

Answers come from the people who chose the gear, not from a script.

PEOPLE 05

Who answers when you write in

Three desks, no ticket purgatory. Average first reply is measured in hours, not days.

DD The design desk

Floor plans, square footage, "how many APs" — turns buildings into kits. Runs the coverage planner and the commercial quotes.

design@technologygiants.com
TB The bench

Tests every SKU, writes the install notes, handles RMAs. If a firmware release breaks something, this desk caught it first.

bench@technologygiants.com
BD The briefing desk

Tracks releases, Early Access sightings, and what's worth waiting for. Writes everything in the UniFi briefing.

SPEC 02 · LIVE

Build a kit. The more it does, the less it costs.

Pick the pieces your network needs. Every combination here is one we'd run ourselves.

Coverage planner

Type your address. We'll spec the building.

Square footage, floors, rooms, construction type — turned into an AP count, a switch size, and a gateway that fits. No guesswork, no overbuying.

Four quick questions size the kit. Property-records autofill is in the build phase.

Enter an address and the plan appears here —
property facts first, then the kit.
