Networks for public buildings, quoted the way procurement needs them.

Classroom-density Wi-Fi 7, lockdown-capable door access, cameras without per-seat cloud fees — on paperwork your business office can actually process. Line-item quotes on letterhead, valid through your board cycle, POs accepted, exemption certificates applied before invoicing.

WHO THIS IS FOR 01

Public buildings we quote every week

Same bench-test policy as everything else in the store. The difference on this page is the paperwork and the design constraints — density per classroom, lockdown procedures, audit trails, and budgets that arrive in fiscal years.

K-12 DISTRICTS & SCHOOLS

One-to-one device programs, wing by wing

Thirty students with two devices each is a density problem, not a coverage problem. We design to client count per room, phase the BOM per wing so summer-break installs come up a building at a time, and align the paperwork with your E-Rate filing window.

DESIGN UNIT Clients per classroom INSTALL WINDOW Phased · summer-ready FUNDING E-Rate Cat 2 · bond · general
HIGHER ED

Lecture halls, residence halls, the quad

Density where students congregate, per-room isolation where they live. E7 Audience for the 400-seat hall, wall-plate APs for dorm rooms, and a controller your existing IT staff can run without a certification course.

LECTURE HALLS 1,000+ clients per AP RESIDENCE Per-room VLAN isolation LICENSING None — no per-AP fees
CITY, COUNTY & STATE

Offices, courts, public works

Segmented networks for staff, public counters, and guest access; cameras with retention measured in months; door access with an audit trail. Sole-source justification letters and vendor packets on request — same day, not after a committee.

SEGMENTATION VLAN per department RETENTION NVR Pro · RAID 5/10 PAPERWORK W-9 & sole-source same day
LIBRARIES & COMMUNITY

Public Wi-Fi that survives public use

Guest networks with bandwidth fairness so one stream doesn't starve forty patrons, content filtering at the gateway where your policy requires it, and hardware that handles all-day load without a service contract attached.

PROCUREMENT 03

How buying works when the buyer is public

We've sat on the vendor side of enough school-board cycles to know what stalls a purchase. These are standing policies, not favors to ask for.

Purchase orders acceptedQuote first, PO against it, invoice on shipment. The quote arrives on letterhead with every SKU, quantity, and discount itemized — ready to attach to the requisition.
60-day quote validityBoard meets monthly and tabled it once? The pricing holds. We re-validate at 60 days instead of forcing a re-quote mid-approval.
NET-30 terms for agenciesStandard for districts, municipalities, and state entities on a PO. A one-page credit form for everyone else.
Tax exemption applied before invoicingSend the certificate with the request and the quote arrives exempt — no credit memos, no accounting cleanup.
Sole-source letters and vendor packets, same dayW-9, sole-source justification language, and references on request. Responding to your RFQ is fine too — attach it to the form below.
E-Rate Category 2UniFi access points, switches, and cabling are the kind of internal-connections hardware Category 2 funds. We'll itemize the quote to match your Form 470/471 line items and hold delivery to your funding-year window. We supply the BOM and paperwork — your E-Rate consultant runs the filing.
Phased delivery for phased budgetsBOMs split per building or per wing, each phase quoted as its own line so this year's budget buys this year's phase. Summer-install scheduling is the default for schools, not an upcharge.
REFERENCE STACKS 04
BUILD BY BUILDING

Pick the building. See the stack.

Five reference architectures from real public-sector deployments. Each is a starting point — your quote gets sized to actual floor plans, enrollment, and closets.

HONEST COUNSEL 05

Where the money should go first

Public budgets are finite and audited. This is the order of operations we recommend when the ask is bigger than the line item — and what we'll say if you try to buy it backwards.

Spend here firstDefer without guilt
Wi-FiDensity in classrooms and assembly spaces — it's what staff and students feel dailyOutdoor coverage for the far parking lot
SwitchingPoE budget and 10G uplinks in the closets that feed classroomsHot-swap PSUs on closets feeding six APs
GatewayLine-rate filtering — an underpowered gateway throttles every building behind itAn HA pair at a single small site
Physical securityExterior door access and entry cameras — the lockdown pathInterior cameras past code requirements
SparesOne spare AP and switch per building — a dead closet shouldn't wait on shippingCold spares for the head end under NET-30 replacement

The most common gov & edu quote we write is phased: core and closets in phase one, classroom density in phase two, cameras and door access in phase three. Buying it all at once is fine; buying it in the wrong order is how a bond runs out before the classrooms get Wi-Fi.

QUOTE 06

Tell us about the job

Rough numbers are fine — an engineer follows up on anything that needs precision. Required fields are the ones we genuinely can't quote without.

What does the job include?
REVIEWED BY AN ENGINEER · NO COMMISSION REPS
Quote request received

An engineer has it.

Expect a line-item quote within one business day — hardware, quantities, and volume pricing, on letterhead and valid 60 days. If the scope needs a conversation first, we'll email to set up a 15-minute call.

SCOPE CHECK 07

Is this the right page?

Use this form for

Schools, districts, campuses, agencies, libraries, and public safety — anything bought with a PO, a bid, E-Rate funds, or a tax-exempt certificate, at any size.

Use enterprise for

Private-sector campuses, hospitality, industrial, and MDU work. Same engineers, same hardware — different paperwork. Start there.

We don't install

We quote and supply the hardware. The quote's design note includes cabling counts and placement logic your low-voltage contractor or district electrician can bid from directly.
