The terms, written to be read.
Buying from this store means agreeing to these terms. We've kept them short, and each section opens with the plain-English version — the paragraph below it is the part that counts.
01The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Technology Giants ("we," "us"), a networking equipment retailer based in Altamonte Springs, Florida. They cover use of technologygiants.com and every purchase made through it. If you don't agree with them, don't order — no hard feelings.
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase.
02Orders & payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract forms when we ship. We may decline or cancel an order before shipment — for suspected fraud, a stock error, or an obvious pricing mistake — and if we do, you're refunded in full and told why.
Payment is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers. All prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is charged where the law requires it; tax-exempt organizations can apply a valid certificate through commercial quotes.
03Pricing & bundles
Prices may change without notice, but a price confirmed at checkout is the price you pay. Bundle discounts (1–6% by item count) apply to the kit as ordered; if part of a bundle is returned, the refund is recalculated at the discount tier the remaining items qualify for, as itemized on the refund receipt.
If we publish a price that's plainly wrong — a $399 switch listed at $3.99 — we'll cancel and refund rather than honor the typo, and we'll say so directly.
04Shipping & risk of loss
Shipping methods, costs, and timelines are on the shipping & returns page, which is part of these terms. Every shipment is tracked and insured. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, report it within 14 days of the delivery scan and we'll replace or refund — the carrier claim is ours to run.
Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the shipping address you provided. Give us a wrong address and the carrier delivers there anyway, and we can't cover it — check the confirmation email.
05Returns & refunds
The full policy lives on the shipping & returns page and is part of these terms. The short form: 30 days from delivery, any reason, no restocking fee, refund to the original payment method. Return postage is yours unless the item is defective or the error was ours, in which case we send a prepaid label.
Returns must include original packaging and accessories and arrive in resellable condition, normal adoption and testing expected. Gear that comes back damaged beyond that may be refunded at a reduced amount — we'll show photos before deciding anything.
06Commercial accounts
Written quotes are valid for 30 days from issue. NET-30 terms are extended at our discretion after a credit review and apply per invoice; overdue balances accrue 1.5% per month (or the maximum the law allows, if lower), and new orders ship prepaid until the account is current.
Volume pricing is quoted per job and doesn't establish a standing price for future orders unless the quote says so.
07Advice & design help
Recommendations from network design help, the coverage planner, product pages, and support are provided in good faith from real installation experience — but they're guidance, not certified engineering services. Site conditions we can't see (wiring, interference, that mystery wall) can change outcomes, which is exactly what the return policy is for.
Compliance with building codes, permits, and licensed-trade requirements for any physical installation is the responsibility of you and your contractor.
08Warranties
All hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty, and we process claims on your behalf — one email to us with the order number. Except for that warranty and anything the law won't let us disclaim, products and the site are provided "as is," and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Some states don't allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
09Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from an order or the site is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost profits, lost data, or downtime included.
Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your statutory consumer rights.
10Trademarks & content
Ubiquiti®, UniFi®, and related marks are trademarks of Ubiquiti Inc. Technology Giants is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ubiquiti Inc. Manufacturer specifications quoted on this site come from manufacturer datasheets; our bench-test numbers are labeled as ours.
Site content we author — guides, the briefing, photography, this design — belongs to us. Quote it with attribution; don't republish it wholesale.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that can't be resolved informally belong to the state or federal courts of Seminole County, Florida, and both sides consent to that venue.
Before anything formal: write to support. The overwhelming majority of problems are a shipping hiccup or a sizing miss, and both have fast fixes.
12Changes & contact
We may update these terms; the effective date above always reflects the current version, and material changes get a note in the dispatch email. Orders are governed by the terms in effect when the order was placed.
